Dr. Frederick K.C. Price’s teaching on the three classifications of mankind: the natural man, the carnal man, and the spiritual man.

  1. The Natural Man:
    • The natural man is unregenerate, meaning they have not experienced spiritual rebirth or transformation.
    • They are devoid of the Spirit and lack appreciation for the gospel.
    • Essentially, they live without a connection to God and His Word.
  2. The Carnal Man:
    • The carnal man is a believer who has experienced regeneration (spiritual rebirth) but still lives much like an unregenerate person.
    • Their behavior resembles that of someone who hasn’t fully embraced their faith.
    • They may exhibit childish ways, relying more on human opinions than on the Word of God.
  3. The Spiritual Man:
    • The spiritual man possesses spiritual maturity.
    • They respond to the truth of the Word of God and live in alignment with it.
    • Unlike the natural and carnal men, they actively seek to grow in their faith and relationship with God.
Dr. Frederick K.C. Price encourages believers to examine themselves in light of these three classifications. It’s essential to assess where we stand and strive toward spiritual maturity by aligning our lives with God’s Word.
