When we fight the good fight of faith, it often becomes tiresome. The enemy, Satan, tries to discourage us from following the path to building up our Christian lives. But we must not give up (Hebrews 10:23) but maintain our hope. Without hope, we'll never exceed where we are. Hope sets the goal based on the promises of God, so we need to hold fast to the confession of that hope. If we don't set goals for ourselves, we won't achieve anything. We have the promise of God that we win if we stay consistent (John 15:18, 2 Corinthians. 4:8).
