Ancient Magicians and the Intersection of Science and Faith

In antiquity, magicians (often referred to as “magi”) were individuals whose knowledge and discoveries were intertwined with horoscopes and astronomy. They played the role of “scientists” during their time, exploring the mysteries of the cosmos. However, the human intellect sometimes rejects ideas embraced by faith.

Fast-forward to the present day, where science has become a form of modern magic. Scientists continually seek to understand and explain the natural world, often challenging traditional beliefs. Yet, this pursuit can inadvertently lead to the nullification of God’s existence.

The book of Job contains intriguing scientific annotations, including references to hydrothermal vent ecosystems (deep-sea hot springs), creatures considered prehistoric by our society, and even mythical beings like fire-breathing dragons. Additionally, scientific endeavors such as cloning and weather control mirror humanity’s attempts to emulate divine power.

Three thought-provoking questions arise:

  1. How can something invisible be clearly seen?
  2. Is there validity to the “Big Bang” theory?
  3. Does the name Nimrod truly imply stupidity?

In this context, Pastor Fred Price sheds light on the existence of the Almighty despite scientific evidence that often overlooks God and His creation. It’s essential to recognize that hidden agendas may exist within the scientific realm, aiming to discredit divine truths.
