The Word of God speaks of both good and evil angels. Like Adam and Eve, angels were given freedom of choice. At the time of Satan's rebellion, many remained true to God, but others joined the great deceiver. The good angels are often shown in the Bible ministering to God's saints. Angels are seen protecting, guiding, instructing, and defending God's people. At one time of extreme danger human eyes are opened to see an army of angels surrounding the prophet Elisha to protect him (2 Kings 6:7). In part 2 of this two-part series, Pastor Frederick K. Price, Jr., continues his discussion of the nature and purpose of angels. Addresses letters concerning angels and their involvement in the lives of people. Distinguishes "angel of the Lord" in 2 Kings 1:3 from the "Son of God" in Daniel 3:25. Defines the "theophany" as a manifestation of the Godhead as Jesus, invisible in bodily form before His incarnation. Discusses scriptures that reveal the incarnations of Jesus and that of angels.
