Every believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit; doing so is an essential part of living the overcoming, abundant life. In order to reach the next level in our spiritual walk with God, we need the Holy Spirit. He is the best friend we could possibly have and He stands ever ready to comfort, help and teach us. Our Heavenly Father sent this mighty power from heaven to meditate between Him, Jesus and man. The Word says in Luke 3:21,

When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him.
