Our New Testament covenant is the bridge to faith, for the just shall live by faith. Understanding our Biblical covenant reveals a unique, unconditional, and divine commitment. On earth, men swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. God made an unchangeable covenant with Abraham when He swore by Himself, since He could find none greater. The Word of God tells us that in Abraham we are blessed (Genesis 12:3). Now as Abraham's descendants we can look back at God's promises, confirmed by His covenant and live a victorious life of faith.
