Life should be one of victory, peace, joy and prosperity. It must be disappointing for God when His people are not experiencing the fullness of what cost Him so much to give. Christians are entitled to the abundant life that Jesus talked about in John 10:10. However, many permit the circumstances of life to dictate whether they succeed or fail.
