When we are in Christ, His blood protects and covers us. We are protected from the harm of the adversary. We are also protected from the judgment that our Heavenly Father will bring on the unholy. Atonement for our sins is no longer required because we have redemption in Christ, which means our sins aren't covered-they are removed. Easter is not about the Easter Bunny or colorful eggs. As Christians we use this time to celebrate our risen Lord. According to the scriptures, Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day.
