From the beginning, it was always God's intent for mankind to have dominion over all of His creation on the land, in the air and in the sea (Gen. 1:26 - 28). Even after the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, God gave the same charge to Noah and his sons after the flood to have dominion over His creation (Gen. 9:1-3). When Jesus came, He demonstrated the power and authority of the Believer not only over God's creation, but also over demons and the powers of darkness.
