Resurrection

Would you believe it is 2023 and we are still having the discussion about whether to call the Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Easter, or Resurrection Day? Why is it that the world calls the day one thing and the Christian community, the Body of Christ, calls it something else? Which is it?

So, what should we call it, Easter, or Resurrection Day? Regardless of what you call the day, the Easter Bunny is not going to show up, chickens do not lay chocolate eggs and yellow, fuzzy marshmallows do not tweet like a bird. It may sound funny, but this is where we live. Ask yourselves this:

How did Christ become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep?
Did death come by man and the Resurrection come through the Man Jesus?
How is Jesus is going to deliver the Kingdom to Our Heavenly Father?
How does God make a distinction between the righteous and the unrighteous?
What is the True Meaning of Easter?

As you celebrate Resurrection Sunday with your family, remember that it is the power of Our Heavenly Father which has been manifested in your life that gives you victory over the enemy. Rejoice in that victory and live in it not just on one special day, but throughout the year.
