Redeemed From Poverty

According to Galatians 3:13-14, poverty is a curse, the result of Adam's failure to obey God's word. Because Christ has redeemed us, we are no longer under the curse of the law. But God doesn’t control whether we live in poverty, we control it. It was not the decreed will of God for His people to be poor. However, God will let you be poor if you let you be poor. Many Christians accept poverty because they believe that's just the way they should live.

As Christians, we need to remember that the world’s system is not meant for a child of God. Our Heavenly Father provides prosperity and meets the needs of His children through a principle that makes no sense to the world.
